Your journey will start from a fascinating mountaintop monastery that has been hidden in the forest for generations. Then, you will face the biggest challenge of the day with a long arduous climb to the highest point with amazing views of Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest mountain. As in life, there are both ups and downs in this enduro cycling tour in Mae Wang as you cycle along hillside trails in this little known district of Chiang Mai.

As you descend, you will witness the real culture of Karen people in the isolated and peaceful villages of the surrounding area. After mingling with the locals, the nice flowy downhill trails are your reward for your hard work before heading back to end the day.

Stairway to heaven :-)!

We had an absolutely fantastic day out with Trail Head. The bikes were new, full suspension and in fantastic condition, the guides even switched the breaks over so they were the same side as at home! The guides were friendly, knowledgeable and spoke great english. We were fully suppleid at the beginning of the day with food and water and also electrolyte sachets for out - which were much appreciated on a hot day ! After the ride we all went for a yummy early dinner together, which was included. The trail itself was great fun, good for enduro riders, with a good mix of up and down. The stops were plentiful, as the uphills were pretty sweaty...:-) We shopped around before choosing these guys and picked them because of their quality gear. Definitely happy with the choice, doing the trip on an old hard tail would have been horrible!!
