Trailhead Thailand have carefully crafted this unique 2 day/1 night trekking and camping adventure in Doi Suthep-Pui national park – a journey that immerses you in nature as well as offers a glimpse into the life of hilltribe villagers who tend to their farms high up in the mountains. You will camp at an elevation of approx. 1500m above sea level with views of Doi Inthanon on a clear day and a breathtaking sunset panorama.

Trailhead Thailand will provide all camping gear which includes high end brand tents, sleeping bags, mats, pillows, lighting and camp kitchen gear so you can kick back and enjoy the peace and serenity with family and friends.

We can customize the trekking duration depending on group size / special requests making this 2 day 1 night trekking tour in Chiang Mai suitable for most age groups.

ณ จุดตั้งแคมป์ในระดับความสูง 1500 เมตร จากระดับน้ำทะเล ใต้ดงสนและทิวทัศน์ภูเขาน้อยใหญ่ ซึ่งหากอากาศเป็นใจ ยอดดอยอินทนท์ที่สูงที่สุดในประเทศไทย จะมาอวดโฉมให้เห็น อย่าพลาดโอกาส เพียงแค่ก้าวออกไปผจญภัยนอกบ้าน เปิดประสบการณ์การเดินทางใหม่ๆ กับเทรลเฮดกันนะคะ

นอกเหนือจากเส้นทางเดินป่าและสถานที่ตั้งแคมป์ที่เป็นใจแล้ว อุปกรณ์ตั้งแคมป์ก็จำเป็นอย่างมาก ซึ่งทีมงานเทรลเฮดได้เตรียมอุปกรณ์แคมป์ปิ้งคุณภาพสูงได้มาตรฐานไว้พร้อมสรรพ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น เต็นท์ ที่รองนอน ถุงนอน ไฟส่องสว่าง และอื่นๆ ที่จะทำให้คุณรู้สึกสะดวกสบายเหมือนอยู่บ้าน

DAY

After the welcome coffee and introduction at the Trailhead Café we begin with an hour drive up the mountain to the start of the Trailhead. Our starting point is a Hmong hilltribe village and we’ll begin the trek through the narrow alleys through the village.

The trail winds through the forest and we’ll gradually climb up to a ridge with amazing views to the east and west. We’ll stop for a break on a rocky outcrop for lunch and refreshments, enjoying the cool breeze as we prepare for the 2nd leg of the trek which traverses the ridge and up to the campsite.

Our vehicle support will be waiting at the campsite with the team on hand to set up the tents / campfire and camp kitchen so you can relax with a cold drink and enjoy the amazing surroundings as we get ready for dinner. You’ll be in for a treat as our team prepares several delicious dishes to enjoy around the open camp fire and as night falls you can relax with a beer before turning in for the night.

เตรียมอาหารว่างและเครื่องดื่มให้เรียบร้อยก่อนออกเดินทาง ผ่านหมู่บ้านม้งแห่งแรกมุ่งหน้าขึ้นไปบนยอดดอย ซึ่งสภาพป่าจะแตกต่างจากข้างล่างเพราะว่าป่าส่วนใหญ่ด้านบนเหนือ 800 เมตรจากระดับน้ำทะเลขึ้นไปจะเป็นป่าเบญจพรรณและป่าไม้นสนเขา ทำให้อากาศเย็นกว่าพื้นราบและการเดินบนยอดดอยนี้ทำให้เห็นวิวทิวทัศน์ของพวกเขาและยอดดอยต่างๆ ตลอดเส้นทางการเดินป่า

หยุดพักรับประทานอาหารว่างและอาหารกลางวันในป่า ก่อนที่จะเดินทางต่อไปยังจุดตั้งแคมป์ ในขณะเดียวกันทีม Support ก็จะเป็นผู้ลำเลียงอุปกรณ์ในการตั้งแคมป์ขึ้นไปยังจุดตั้งแคมป์ เพื่อเตรียมเต็นท์อุปกรณ์ อาหารและเครื่องดื่ม สำหรับค่ำคืนที่ยาวนานภายใต้แสงดาวและสายลมเย็นสบายตลอดทั้งคืน

DAY

Start the day the right way with some freshly brewed coffee and a hearty breakfast to energize you for the day ahead. As the sunlight pierces the trees as it rises over the horizon, the valley is lit up and if you’re lucky a sea of clouds will sit beneath you as you enjoy your breakfast. After packing away the gear it’s time to head off for the 2nd day of trekking which sees you descending for the majority of the journey back to civilization.

We’ll traverse high altitude pine forest before descending through farms and coffee plantations before reaching another Hmong hilltribe village which sees few visitors. The trek ends in the village and we’ll drive down to the valley below for lunch and a waterfall visit which is suitable for swimming certain times of the year. From here it is an hour drive back to Chiang Mai city to conclude the tour.

การเดินป่าวันนี้เราจะอำลาป่าสนเขา ป่าเบญจพรรณ ลงไปสู่ป่าชุมชนของหมู่บ้านม้งแห่งที่สอง และนั่งรถไปรับประทานอาหารเที่ยง ต่อด้วยการเล่นน้ำตกคล้ายร้อน ก่อนใช้เวลาประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมงเพื่อกลับสู่ที่พักในอำเภอเมืองเชียงใหม่โดยสวัสดิภาพ

What Can I Expect?

Trekking distance on day 1 is 12km / 500m elevation gain and 7km on day 2 with 100m of elevation gain, for private groups there is an option for more difficult / easier routes. We will endeavor to make the overnight camping as comfortable as possible but as with any outdoor adventure you can expect creepy crawlies, inclement weather and ‘rouging it’ conditions. If you need your creature comforts, then this trip may not be for you! The village has built a very basic toilet but there will be no facilities on the trail.

ห้องสุขามีให้บริการในเขตพื้นที่ตั้งแคมป์ของชาวบ้าน แต่ระหว่างการเดินป่าจะไม่มีให้บริการ ซึ่งทริปนี้เหมาะกับสายลุยอย่างที่สุด

Equipment

Guests may own their own equipment for camping, and we welcome them to bring it along. Trailhead Thailand in partnership with TANKstore can provide a range of well-known branded equipment however due to the nature of camping trips the following equipment is not included and can be rented at additional cost.

08:30am     Pick up from hotel and transfer to Trailhead office
09:00am     Welcome & introduction, complimentary coffee, meet the team and briefing on activities
09:30am     Shop departure
10.30am     Arrive in hilltribe village and wander around
11.30pm     Begin trek to the campsite
14.30pm     Reach the highest point and enjoy a light lunch and drinks
16.30pm     Arrive at the campsite and relax
19:00pm     Prepare dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening

Day 2

08:30am     Enjoy Breakfast and fresh coffee
09.30am     Pack away gear and prepare to set off
11:30am     Trek to hilltribe village and have a coffee in a local cafe
12.30am     Drive down to valley and stop for lunch
13.30pm     Stop off at Mae Sa waterfall* waterfall may be closed in rainy season
15.30pm     Head back to Chiang Mai city and conclude the tour

13.30 น.     เดินทางไปน้ำตกแม่สา เล่นน้ำคลายร้อน
15.30 น.     เดินทางกลับโดยสวัสดิภาพ
